Dyal Singh Public School in Karnal wins cleanliness award : The Tribune India

Karnal: Dyal Singh Public School has been shortlisted for SwachhVidyalaya Puraskar 2021-22 in the private school category. “Our school was honored to have taken important steps to fulfill the mandate of the ‘SwachhVidyalaya’ campaign. Of the 653 schools that participated, 28 were selected. Our school won a certificate and a trophy in one of the sub-categories and was honored in the general category as well as at the district level,” said Principal Sushma Devgun.

A climber visits the Sanskriti school

Hisar: Mountaineer Anita Kundu visited Model Sanskriti School, Narnaund on Thursday. She was the main guest at the school’s annual awards function, while the district primary education officer, Dhanpat Ram, was the special guest. Program organizer Ajay Lohan said deserving students from Classes VI-XII were honored on the occasion. The main guest also talked about the importance of planting trees and protecting the environment. She also distributed 500 saplings among the students.

Building Codes Workshop

Faridabad: To sensitize students on Energy Conservation Building Codes (ECBC) and ECO Niwas Samhita (ENS) in the state, Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA), in association with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Government of India, and JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, organized a two-day awareness workshop. Dr. Jagdeesh Chaudhary, Director of Balaji Educational Institutions, emphasized the need for energy saving in buildings.

HAU girl sets up MS program in Utah

Hisar: Surbhi, a student at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, has been selected for a two-year Master of Science (MS) program at Utah State University, United States of America . She will pursue it in plant sciences under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer McAdams. She was awarded a scholarship of Rs 80 lakhs in tuition fees, living expenses and student health insurance benefits. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. BR Kamboj congratulated Surbhi on his achievement and wished him well for his future.
