Belthangady: Independence Day celebrated at Holy Redeemer Educational Institution

Belthangady, August 15: The 75th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at the premises of Holy Redeemer Church. The program began on the grounds of Holy Redeemer Church with a large crowd of students, parents, staff, school management committee members, PTA committee members and parishioners.
Father Fredrick Brags, director of Dayalbagh Ashram was the main guest, Father Joseph Cardoza, correspondent and parish priest of Holy Redeemer Church, Father Clifford Pinto, headmaster of Holy Redeemer English Middle School, Renni Vas , director of the church’s upper primary school, Pauline Rego, secretary of the parish pastoral council and Vincent D’souza, coordinator of the pastoral commissions were present on the Dias.
The prayer song was sung by the school choir. The guests were welcomed by offering the bouquets to commemorate the main guest’s 75th Independence Day.
Father Fredric Brags unfurled the tricolor and delivered his inspiring message. The correspondent, Fr. Joseph Cardoza, delivered his message.
The group performed a great drill and at the end sweets were given out. Prathiksha welcomed the gathering and Bhakti delivered a vote of thanks. The program was well accompanied by Viyona Rego.
